(complete the following on a blank sheet of paper or use a software application like MS Publisher)

    1. The flowchart on the right totals and prints the sum of first 50 integer numbers.
      1. Trace the flowchart for N and SUM in a neat table up to when N = 10. (Example table at bottom of page)
      2. What change(s) would you make to the flowchart to add all numbers from 25 to 75?
      3. What change(s) to the flowchart would be needed to total all odd numbers (from 0 t 50)?
      4. What change(s) to the flowchart would be necessary to total all the squares of the numbers from 1 to 99?
      5. What change(s) would be required if you wanted the total of all the squares from 0 to 100?

    2. Draw a flowchart to calculate the cost of an advertisement in the London Free Press.  The number of words will be read in.  Twenty words or less cost $5.00 and each extra word costs $0.15.  Display the total cost of the advertisement.

    1. Draw a flowchart to find the larger of two numbers that are inputted and display.  Trace your flowchart with testing numbers 8 and 3, 2 and 9 and finally 7 and 7 to verify it's correctness.
    1. Draw a flowchart to find the largest of 3 numbers and display the largest number. Call them X, Y, and Z.  None are equal.
